How it works | One-time rental

At Dressr, we offer new, more sustainable ways to enjoy fashion. Next to our flexible memberships, one-time rental is our way to help you make the sustainable choice for special occasions. 

Instead of purchasing garments that usually collect dust in the closet once your event is over, you can rent premium pieces for a short period of time at a fraction of the original retail price with Dressr. After the 10-day rental period, you simply return them to us.

Dressr’s catalog of premium pieces is Belgium’s largest sustainable fashion collection. All of our pieces are available for one-time rental and as part of memberships.

The rental period starts the day after your order has been delivered by our courier, either directly to the specified shipping address, or to a drop-off point close by. Every Dressr package comes with a tracking number, so you can follow the shipment and plan your day to recieve your premium pieces.

You then have 10 calendar days to enjoy your rented pieces. Once the 10 days are up, it’s time to return your pieces to Dressr via your local post outlet using the return label included in your order. You do not have to notify us about returning your package as we will receive notifications from the shipping company.

We ship all one-time rental orders within 1 business day in partnership with local shipping providers. If you place your order before 11 am on a business day (Monday-Friday, excluding Belgian public holidays), your Dressr package will be sent that same day. All deliveries come with tracking links and automated email updates, so you can follow your package.

If you are renting an outfit for a time-sensitive occasion, we recommend ordering at the earliest possible moment to make sure you have your chosen outfit on time.

In the case of delays in the shipping process or other issues, please contact us at hello@dressr.be and we will do our best to find a good solution for you.

If you have enjoyed your selection and want to give your pieces a forever home, you can purchase them. Your one-time rental fee (excluding shipping charges) will be credited as a discount to your order, so you don’t have to pay twice!

To purchase a piece, simply log in to your account before your rental period is finished and click the “buy” button next to the product.

When you do not return your one-time rental pieces within the official 10-day rental period, additional costs accrue. You will be charged your selection’s one-time rental price for every additional 10-day period in which we have not received the products back.

We’re glad you are enjoying your Dressr outfit. You have two options to keep your favourite pieces:

  1. Purchase your one-time rental piece. Simply log in to your account before your rental period is finished and click the “buy” button next to the product.
  2. Sign up for a Dressr membership. Select your favorite pieces, wear them as long as you want and renew your selection at any time. Discover our memberships here.

For one time rental orders, Dressr charges a flat shipping fee of €10 return anywhere in Belgium. 

How it works | Memberships

To start with a Dressr membership, visit our membership page, select from our three membership packages and fill in the necessary information. Once you submit your info, you will receive a confirmation email to notify you that you are now a member! Once you’ve signed up you pay a quarterly or yearly fee for as long as you remain with the service.

Please note: to be able to register to Dressr, you must be 18 years of age or older and must reside within Belgium.

Unlimited rental
Did you know you can rent our pieces for an unlimited period of time? That’s right! No fixed return dates, no limits.

Love it? Own it!
Have you fallen in love with one of our pieces? As a member, you can choose to purchase a piece you are currently renting at an exclusive members-only price.

Reuse & recycle
When you’re returning your wardrobe, be sure to use our 100% reusable, recyclable packaging along with your return label. It’s the little things that help make our planet greener!

Something wrong? No worries!
We want your pieces to look just the way you hoped. If something doesn’t work for you, let us know and you can swap the piece out for something new. This includes fitting flaws AND sizing slip-ups!

And if an unexpected piece arrives in your order, from size to style, color, and anything else outside of the ordinary, be sure to send us a message and we’ll ensure you get the right piece.

Fresh and clean
Every Dressr piece is professionally washed or dry cleaned between rentals. So you can return your pieces unwashed, or wash them yourself if you keep them for longer, following the care instructions on the garment label.

With a Dressr membership, you can keep pieces for as long as you want, or replace them right away. There are no restrictions on the rental period. The shipping and return costs are included in your membership, if you use the return label that Dressr has provided in your package to send back the piece(s) you want to replace. When Dressr has received the piece(s) and approved the return after performing a quality check, you will be able to pick new pieces on the platform. You’ll receive an email notification for this.

If a piece from your selection does not fit as expcted, you can simply send it back to Dressr.

Please use the card included in the original package to indicate the reason why you are returning the piece. After receiving and checking the quality of the returned piece, we will notify you that you are able to choose a new piece to be sent to you.

Dressr offers 3 different memberships tiers:

  • CLASSIC – Just the basics
    2 pieces: Rent 2 basic access pieces for 39€ per month.

  • SIGNATURE – Our most popular 
    Up to 3 pieces: Rent 3 basic access pieces OR 1 basic access & 1 premium access piece for 59€ per month.

  • CHIC – The deluxe option
    Up to 4 pieces: Rent 4 basic access pieces OR 2 basic access & 1 premium access pieces OR 2 premium access pieces for 79€ per month.


All our memberships include free shipping & returns, professional cleaning services and exclusive purchase discounts.

There are no additional fees or hidden charges. However, you are responsible for any loss or damage done to a piece.

  • Minor damages (removable stains, regular wear and tear) will be notified upon receipt of the fashion pieces and will not be charged.

     

  • Major damages that are repairable will be charged the price of repair.

     

  • Non-repairable damages (non-removable stains and rips beyond repair) will be charged the Dressr price of the product. You become the owner of the piece once the transaction is completed, and we will send it back to you in your next package.

You will be automatically billed at the start of every quarter or year, depending on your membership payment selection. The amount billed is linked to your chosen membership. The billing period is not related to how long you keep the pieces for.

You can pause your membership between billing cycles (quarterly or yearly). To pause your membership, send an email to hello@dressr.be to let us know you’d like to pause your membership. Dressr can only initiate the pause before the start of a new billing cycle and after receiving and checking the quality of any currently rented pieces.

Dressr can only deactivate a membership before the start of a new billing cycle and after receiving and checking the quality of any currently rented pieces.

Reactivating your Dressr membership is easy! You can log in to your account here, view your membership and click the “REACTIVATE” button.

How it works | General

Dressr is an online rental service that provides designer fashion from sustainable partner brands for both one-time and membership-based rental.

With a one-time rental, you can choose pieces for a special occasion, rent and wear those pieces for a full 10 days, and then send them back when you’re finished. With a membership, you can choose pieces, wear them, and swap them whenever you like. By sending back your selection you are able to make a new one.

Both our rental options allow renters to purchase rented pieces they’ve fallen in love with.

If you have signed up for a Dressr membership or have rented a piece for a special occasion and have not received an email from us, please check your spam folder. If you find our email there, add Dressr as one of your contacts. If not, please feel free to contact us.

Remember, you can always find information about your account and your rented pieces in your account on our website.

Dressr accepts Bancontact, credit cards, KBC/CBC Payment button, Belfius Direct Net, and eco-cheques*.


*Eco-cheques can only be used to purchase pieces from Dressr.

A premium access piece is a garment that has a high retail value compared to our basic access pieces.

Tier 2 and tier 3 memberships have access to premium pieces. Tier 1 members can only rent basic access pieces.

Generally renting a premium access piece for a special occasion costs a little more than renting a basic piece.

Premium access pieces can be identified by a small green crown icon next to the garment listing.

Purchasing

You sure can! To purchase a piece from your dressr, go to your account and select ‘Purchase’ next to the image of the piece. You will be charged the Dressr price minus a reduction linked to your membership or the rental fee you paid (in case of one-time rental).

As you’ve already had the opportunity to wear and enjoy the piece, all purchases are final sales and cannot be returned.

If you have changed your mind about a piece after sending it back, all you need to do is to rent it again. Once it’s rented, you’ll be able to purchase it.

Shipment & Returns

All Dressr orders ship via Bpost on business days (Monday through Friday). Once your order is placed, you can expect up to two business days for processing, and up to two business days for delivery. We are not currently able to ship outside Belgium or to PO Boxes.

You can only save one shipping address within your Dressr account at a time. If you need to make a change, head to the Profile section of your account and select ‘Edit’ next to the Shipping Address section. When you’re done, our system will confirm the change and update your account.

You can track your package using the tracking number included in your shipment confirmation email.

For members, shipping and returns are included in your Dressr membership. We provide a return label in your package, the return is only free if you use the label we provided you.

For one time rental orders, Dressr charges a flat shipping fee of €10 return anywhere in Belgium. 

Cleaning & Repairs

When pieces are returned to us, Dressr makes sure to meticulously clean them. We utilize professional cleaning services designed to kill viruses and bacteria. After cleaning, a steamer is used to remove any remaining bacteria and viruses.

We avoid dry cleaning wherever possible due to the heavy chemicals involved however some pieces may need to be dry cleaned from time to time.

Our employees ensure every piece is safely packed after being cleaned to avoid additional handling. This process and these techniques enable us to send you clean and ready-to-wear pieces.

Yes, you can wash or dry clean your pieces, as long as you follow the care instructions as provided on the label of the garment or in the garment description that you can find on our website.

You don’t have to! You can return all your pieces unwashed. Every Dressr piece is professionally washed or dry cleaned between rentals.

No, you are not allowed to hem, lengthen, tailor or otherwise alter any rental pieces. If you do that, you will be charged the Dressr price of the piece.
