How it works

Dressr is an online rental subscription service that provides fashion items from partner brands. As a member, you can choose items, wear them, and change them every month. By sending back your selection you are able to make a new one. If you want to keep one or several items from your dressr, you can, for one or several other months, or you can purchase them at the member price.

To start using Dressr you first register by visiting our website and clicking on ‘my profile’ icon. Then, you can choose to subscribe to the membership plan that fits you best among our three options. After making your choice, you will be asked to provide payment information. When all the information is completed, you will receive a confirmation email to notify you that you are now a Rentr! As from then, you pay a monthly fee. You will have access to our service and items, for as long as you keep using Dressr.

 

 Please note: to be able to register to Dressr, you must be 18 years of age or older and must reside within Belgium.

Unlimited rental
Did you know you can rent our pieces for an unlimited period of time? That’s right! No fixed return dates, no limits.

Love it? Own it!
Have you fallen in love with one of our pieces? As a member, you can choose to purchase a piece you are currently renting at an exclusive members-only price.

Reuse & recycle
When you’re returning your wardrobe, be sure to use our 100% reusable, recyclable packaging along with your return label. It’s the little things that help make our planet greener!

Something wrong? No worries!
We want your pieces to look just the way you hoped. If something doesn’t work for you, let us know and you can swap the piece out for something new. This includes fitting flaws AND sizing slip-ups!

And if an unexpected piece arrives in your order, from size to style, color, and anything else outside of the ordinary, be sure to send us a message and we’ll ensure you get the right piece.

Fresh and clean
Every Dressr piece is professionally washed or dry cleaned between rentals. So you can return your pieces unwashed, or wash them yourself if you keep them for longer, following the care instructions on the garment label.

You can keep your Dressr pieces for as long as you want, or replace them right away. There are no restrictions on the rental period. The shipping and return costs are included in your membership, if you use the return label that Dressr has provided in your package to send back the item(s) you want to replace. When Dressr has received the item(s) and approved the return after performing a quality check, you will be able to pick new items on the platform. You’ll receive an email notification for this.

If an item from your selection does not arrive as expected, you can simply send it back to Dressr. Please use the card included in the original package to indicate the reason why you are returning the item. After receiving and checking the quality of the returned item, we will notify you that you are able to choose a new item that will be sent to you.

If you receive in your dresser an item that you didn’t order, please contact us through the contact form and let us know.

Yes, you can purchase any piece that is currently in your Dressr with an exclusive members-only discount, or simply keep on renting it. Purchasing high-quality, sustainably produced garments that you know you’re going to enjoy long-term is a great way to shop sustainably.

To purchase an item from your current Dressr, go to your account and select ‘Purchase’ next to the image of the item and you will be charged the Dressr price linked to the item. You will be able to select a new item for rental as soon as the transaction is confirmed.

Please note: Different from rental items, a standard 14-day return period applies to purchased pieces through Dressr. Shipping cost for returning purchased items is not covered by Dressr.

Dressr’s premium acces items are accessible to two out of three membership plans. These pieces have a higher retail value than the basic access items.

Premium access items can be identified thanks to the icon that is in the shape of a crown. When you see this icon it means the item is an premium access one.

If you started a membership and did not receive any email from us, please check your spam folder. If you have found our email there, add dressr as one of your contacts. If not, do not hesitate to contact us. Meanwhile, you can always find updates about your dresser in you account page when you sign in into dressr.be.

Subscription & Billing

Dressr offers 3 different memberships plans

      Up to 2 items: you can rent 2 basic access items for 39€ per month.

      Up to 3 items: you can rent 3 basic access or 1 basic access and 1 premium access item for 59€ per month.

      Up to 4 items: you can rent 4 basic access, 2 basic access and 1 premium access or 2 premium access items for 79€ per month.  

 

These memberships all include the transportations costs and the cleaning of the items when you send them back to us.

You will be automatically billed every 30 days from the initial date that you signed up for Dressr. The amount billed is linked to your chosen subscription. The billing period is not related to how long you keep the items for.

There are no additional fees or hidden charges. However, you are responsible for any loss or damage done to an item. 

  Minor damages (removable stains, regular wear and tear) will be notified upon receipt of the fashion items and will not be charged.

      Major damages that are repairable will be charged the price of repair. 

    Non-repairable damages (non-removable stains and rips beyond repair) will be charged the Dressr price of the product. You become the owner of the item once the transaction is completed, and we will send it back to you in your next package.

Dressr accepts Bancontact, credit cards, KBC/CBC Payment button, Belfius Direct Net, and eco-cheques.

Purchasing

You can. If you want to keep any items, just log in to your Dressr Account to purchase them so we know they’re not making the return trip. You will be able to select a new item as soon as the transaction is confirmed.

If you have changed your mind about an item after sending it back, all you need to do is add it to your next Dressr to rent it again. Once it’s rented, you’ll be able to purchase it.

Shipment & Returns

All Dressr orders ship via Bpost on business days (Monday through Friday). Once your order is placed, you can expect up to two business days for processing, and up to two business days for delivery. We are not currently able to ship outside Belgium or to PO Boxes.

You can only save one shipping address within your account at a time. If you need to update it, head to the Profile section of My Account, select on ‘Edit’ next to the Shipping Address section. Our system will then confirm and save it within your account.

You can track your package using the tracking number included in your shipment confirmation email.

Free shipping and returns for your Dressr are included in your subscription. We provide a return label in your package, the return is only free if you use the label we provided you.

Cleaning & Repairs

When items are returned to us, Dressr makes sure to meticulously clean them. Indeed, we utilize wet and dry cleaning, depending on the garment. After the cleaning process, all garments are steamed, removing bacteria and viruses that could remain. Our employees make sure make sure every item is safely packed after being cleaned to avoid additional handling.  

It is currently unclear if Covid-19 can be spread through soft surfaces such as clothing, however we do everything we can to make sure to reduce the risks as much as possible. This process and these techniques enable us to send you clean and ready-to-wear items.

When items are returned to us, Dressr makes sure to meticulously clean them. After the cleaning, a steamer is used on the items to remove all bacteria and viruses that could remain. Our employees make sure every item is safely packed after being cleaned to avoid additional handling. This process and these techniques enable us to send you clean and ready-to-wear items.

Yes, you can wash or dry clean your items, as long as you follow the care instructions as provided on the label of the item or in the item description that you can find on our website.

You don’t have to! You can return all your pieces unwashed. Every Dressr piece is professionally washed or dry cleaned between rentals.

No, you are not allowed to hem, lengthen, tailor or otherwise alter any subscription items. If you do that, you will be charged the Dressr price of the item.

Pausing & deactivating

To pause your subscription, send an email to hello@dressr.be saying you want to pause your subscription. Dressr can only start the pause, after receiving and checking the quality of your items and as long as this has been processed before any new payment.

To deactivate your subscription, send an email to hello@dressr.be saying you want to deactivate your subscription. Dressr can only deactivate your membership, after receiving and checking the quality of your current rental items and as long as this has been processed before any new payment.

Reactivating your Dressr membership is easy! You can log in to your account here, view your membership and click the “REACTIVATE” button.
