ByBrown's primary concern is designing excellent raincoats, however they always take sustainability into consideration, incorporating sustainable practice into the collections wherever possible; whether that be in the materials, the production or the design process. Produced in limited quantities, each design series is made from technical and recycled fabrics, produced with laser cutting and heat sealing technology.

All items are handmade, so there is no mass production. As a result, each piece is unique and designed and made with love and attention to detail in their studio. For the earrings and cufflinks, they work with salmon leather, which is a good alternative to snakeskin and helps protect endangered species. Cap'a di Carina uses only the highest quality materials.

About LAURE DE MEES

Laure de Mees' passion for jewelry began in childhood, with their grandmother playing a significant role. Occasionally, their grandmother would ask them to do repairs or they would go together to buy beads to make their own pieces. This led to the creation of an enormous collection and their own fashion jewelry brand in 2010. They studied 'Goldsmithing and Jewelry Design' at Technicum Noord Antwerpen and graduated in 2013, followed by the 'Restoration of jewelry' study in 2014.
